5 hacks to ENJOY your Thanksgiving without the guilt 🤝

1️⃣ Reframe your mindset. Thanksgiving is just one day of 365. It’s not going to make or break your progress at all. It’s a holiday, not a holiweek or holimonth 🤔

2️⃣ Load up on the protein as this will fill you up and prevent you from severely overeating. Yes, you still might consume more than you planned but that’s okay. Your protein intake will help minimize how many calories you go over because it is more satiating than carbs or fats. This is what I suggest my clients do as I don’t expect them to track macros or follow their meal plan on Thanksgiving Day.

3️⃣ Eat slower. This one is a big reminder to myself because I’ve always been a fast eater. But when eating slower, your body can signal when you are full more effectively and you’ll enjoy the delicious food more.

4️⃣ Go on a post-Thanksgiving walk. This will help tremendously with digestion and reduce any discomfort you may be feeling from being stuffed like a 🦃

5️⃣ Keep your water intake high. Staying hydrated is crucial even if you are drinking!
